Construction Startup Notice - April 23, 2024

Watermain Replacement & Asphalt Rehabilitation, Agnes Street and Percy Avenue, Sudbury


The City of Greater Sudbury will be completing road and water/wastewater improvements on Agnes Street, from the cul-de-sac to Bond Street and on Percy Avenue from Bond Street to Queen Street, in Sudbury.

Construction by the City’s contractor, Bélanger Construction (1981) Inc., will begin April 2024 and is expected to be completed in October 2024.

Work will typically take place during daylight hours Monday to Friday. Weekend or night work may be required.

Final asphalt will be completed in 2025. 

Construction Details: 
Agnes Street
•    Replacement of watermain and sanitary sewer main, including services 
•    Replacement of storm sewer 
•    Road reconstruction
•    Replacement of concrete curb, sidewalks and asphalt
•    Walkway from Leslie to Agnes Streets 
Percy Avenue
•    New watermain installation
•    Pavement rehabilitation
•    Replacement of concrete curb, sidewalk and asphalt
Bond Street
•    Watermain connection along creek to Bond Street
