Lansing Avenue, Sudbury- Pipeline upgrades by Union Gas will close a lane of traffic on Lansing Avenue between Overbrook Crescent and Cedarview Crescent on Wednesday, August 1 to Saturday, August 4 Traffic control will be in place.

In accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, the City of Greater Sudbury City Solicitor and Clerk has declared the following candidates to be elected by acclamation, as the number of candidates running for the office is the same as the number required for the role.

Kelly Lake Road, Sudbury- A damaged electrical pole that requires emergency repairs will close Kelly Lake Road on Monday, July 30. Sudbury Hydro and Bell are on site and work should be complete by 6:30 p.m. Flag persons is on-site detouring traffic.

Elm Street, Sudbury- A private contractor will be closing the eastbound curb lane in front of 111 Elm Street and in front of the McEwen School of Architecture to repair Bell cable services on Monday, July 30 to Friday, August 3. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Havenbrook Drive, Sudbury- Pipeline upgrades by Union Gas will close Havenbrook Drive, north of Valleystream Drive on Monday, July 30 to Monday, August 6. Detour signs will be posted

The deadline for applications to serve on the Election Compliance Audit Committee has been extended to Friday, August 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. 

York Street Location Thursday, July 26, from 2.to 6 p.m. Elgin Street Location Saturday, July 28, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bancroft Drive, Sudbury- Union gas will be making gas main upgrades that will cause intermittent traffic delays on Bancroft Drive at the Levesque Street intersection on Wednesday, July 25. Flag persons will be on-site directing traffic.
