Lifeguard supervision at the Bell Park Main Beach is extended until Sunday, August 26, in response to continued hot and humid weather. Lifeguards will remain on duty between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day.

Falconbridge Road, Garson- Asphalt improvements will close a lane in each direction on Falconbridge road between Margaret Street and Penman Avenue, Lawrence Street and Pilotte Road and at Edison Road on Thursday, August 16 to Friday, August 24

Lifeguard supervision will be extended at municipal beaches on Tuesday, Aug. 14. Lifeguards will be on duty until 9 p.m. Libraries and Citizen Service Centres will be available as cooling centres.

The Heat Warning, which began Sunday, August 12, 2018, is being extended given the hot, humid weather in the forecast.

Barry Downe Road, Sudbury- Curb and sidewalk repairs will reduce north and south bound traffic to one lane at 675 and 710 Barry Downe Road on Tuesday, August 14 to Friday, August 17. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and traffic control will be in place.
