Maley Drive, Sudbury- Installation of box culverts will result in a temporary detour on Maley Drive, near Barry Downe Road on Monday, August 27 to Thursday, August 30. Motorists will be detoured to a gravel surface.

Effective immediately, the City of Greater Sudbury has lifted the fire ban declared on July 6.

Marier Street, Azilda- Water main and culvert replacement will result in lane reductions on Marier Street, approximately 380 metres north of MR 35 on Friday, August 24 to Friday, September 14. Traffic control will be in place.

York Street Location – Thursday, August 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. and
Elgin Street Location – Saturday, August 25, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

While attending the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Annual Conference in Ottawa, Mayor Brian Bigger has taken the opportunity to build relationships with the province of Ontario, advocate for Greater Sudbury and gather information on matters related to policy.

Regent Street, Sudbury- Curb and sidewalk improvements will close both northbound lanes on Regent Street between Ontario Street and Wembley Drive on Wednesday, August 22 to Tuesday, August 28. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Traffic control will direct motorists into the southbound lane.

Greater Sudbury Museums is hosting the Holodomor National Awareness Tour at the Anderson Farm Museum, located at 550 M.R. 24 in Lively, to Friday, August 24.

Brady Street, Sudbury- Asphalt removal and repaving will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction on Brady Street from Broadway Street to Grey Street on Tuesday, August 21 to Friday, September 14. Traffic control will be in place.
