Community Consultation – Ramsey Lake Subwatershed Study

The City of Greater Sudbury will begin the first of a series of consultation sessions for the Ramsey Lake subwatershed study. The first public open house will take place on December 8 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Northern Watersports Centre, at 206 Ramsey Lake Road.

Water Update- December 2

Douglas Street, Sudbury- Due to repairs to a water main valve, the northbound curb lane on Douglas street, at the intersection of Cross Street will be closed on Monday, December 5. Work will be done between 9 a.m and 4 p.m.

Christmas Extravaganza on Ice Cancelled

The Igor Bobrin Theatre has announced the cancellation of all Canadian Tour 2016 performances of the Christmas Extravaganza on Ice, including the performance at the Sudbury Community Arena scheduled for Tuesday, December 13, 2016.

No Overnight Parking on City Streets: December 1 to March 31

The overnight parking by-law will take effect starting December 1, through to March 31. During this time, parking is not permitted on any roadway, highway, laneway or side street between the hours of midnight and 7 a.m.
