Environment Canada is forecasting large amounts of rainfall for Greater Sudbury and vicinity. The latest forecast for Greater Sudbury and area is calling for up to 40 mm by the end of this week. The rain is expected to taper off by Thursday afternoon but return for the weekend.

Due to two separate watermain breaks the Westbound curb lane is closed from Silver Hills to Bancroft Drive on the Kingsway until further notice.

Elgin Street at Ste. Anne Road/Beech Street/Elm Street, Sudbury: Traffic flow on Elm Street, at Elgin Street, is now moving in the west bound lanes. One lane of traffic is being maintained, in each direction. Elgin Street, from Beech Street to Elm Street remains closed to traffic. Pedestrian access continues to be maintained.
