When the summer heat hits, the beach is the perfect place to cool off! The City of Greater Sudbury owns and operates several supervised beaches across the city.

Hours and Etiquette
Lifeguards are on duty seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. between June 15 and August 18, 2024.
Children should always be accompanied by an adult and always within arm's reach.

Bell Park Main Beach
- Ramsey Lake
- Bell Park Main Beach can be accessed from the Elizabeth St. parking lot.
Bell Park has several beaches. Only the main beach is accessible and supervised by a lifeguard.
Visitors with disabilities can enjoy the water at our main beach with the use of our floating wheelchair. For more information, or to reserve the floating wheelchair, please call 705-674-9116.
Did you know that Bell Park Main Beach is blue flag certified? When you see the blue flag flying, it means our beach meets strict environmental, educational, safety and access criteria.
