It's Thanksgiving Feast Time at The Market this Weekend: October 10 and 11

Oct 8, 2015

Come to the Market this weekend to get all the ingredients you require for your holiday family gatherings! Locally grown potatoes, squash, Ontario cranberries, and handmade pumpkin pies will all be available! Put a different spin on tradition, and celebrate with some home-made, vegan baklava made with love by our newest vendor, The Busy V! Chef Jasmine will take your taste buds on an adventure featuring multi-ethnic dishes, all prepared in a vegan or vegetarian style.

Northern All Stars Steel Pan Band takes the stage on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. playing a musical style of calypso, soca, jazz and pop-rock. On Sunday, performer Leo Rainville will entertain you with country rock music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Also, the City is asking for you to provide feedback about your experience at the Market by filling out the 2015 Customer Service Survey. You can fill it out online at www.greatersudbury.ca/surveys. Paper copies are also available at The Market on Saturday and Sunday.

The Market is your destination for fresh air and fresh food this season. Enjoy live entertainment, fresh local produce, unique gift ideas and much more. The Market is located next to the CP/Via Rail Station at 233 Elgin St. in downtown Sudbury, and is open every weekend rain or shine, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
