Event Planners invited to Permit-Paloooza: A step-by-step process to special event planning and permitting

Event planners and organizers are invited to attend Permit-Palooza, a step-by-step process to special event planning and permitting, hosted by the City of Greater Sudbury. The goal of this innovative new event is to help local organizers plan their upcoming events, clarify the roles of City departments and staff teams, and provide the opportunity to share information about resources available to event planners. Organizers can drop-in anytime between 4 and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 in the Foyer at Tom Davies Square.

The event will include information booths and displays from various City departments such as Roads for traffic control plans and Building Services for help with stages and structures for your event. Regional and provincial partners including the Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario and the Sudbury & District Health Unit will also be available to offer resources for event planners.  Presentations on funding and resources available to event organizers will also be held every half hour beginning at 4:30 p.m. in Room C-12.
